The standout performance of the Vic Champs is Alex Carew's PB of 21.94 in the men's open 200m. This performance matched Alex's 21.94 in a recent interclub meet in Canberra. Alex has qualified for the final. We wish him the best.
Stephen Cain once again showed his class finishing second in the Men's Pole Vault with a clearance of 4.80m. Steve also finished 4th in the Men's Shot Put (13.18m).

Trivia Night Results
A fantastic night was enjoyed by all who attended the annual SKAAC trivia night. The raffle winners were as follows:

The night helped raise just under $1,500 which will help support athletes and help the club to provide better coaching over the next 12 months.

2009 APSOC Winter Season Fixture
The 2009 winter season fixture has now been released. As is always the tradition, the season kicks off with the Jamieson 5k at Scotch College. This is the first of the championship races so a big turnout is essential.
As per the last three years, SKAAC will compete as part as APS united for Athletics Victoria championship races.

Round 12 Results
SKAAC had a great turnout in the in the final round of interclub. Great conditions enabled a number of season best performances. Well done to all who contributed throughout the season, particularly the parents and volunteers who assisted with officialing.
